Check It Out

Ingomar Volunteer Fire Company was originally located in Franklin Park, on West Ingomar Road near the intersection with Rochester Road.

Since then, we've had many homes, including the site where the Gulf gas station is currently located and the building that is now the home of Ingomar Beer.

Main Station

The Main Station is located in the heart of "downtown" Ingomar near the intersection of West Ingomar Road and Harmony Drive. The station in its current form was constructed in 2012 and provides rapid response to the southern and western portions of McCandless.

The Main Station is the home of Engine 1, Engine 2, and Rescue 1.

It is important to note that the Main Station and Substation are part of the same fire department; firefighters from each station train together every week, and respond concurrently to all incidents for which Ingomar is alerted.

The Main Station has office facilities for our executive officers and line officers, a lounge area and kitchen for our firefighters to rest and relax between fire calls, well-equipped fitness center to keep us "battle ready," and classroom facilities to keep our knowledge and skills sharp.

If your community group would like a tour of our Main Station facility, call us at (412) 364-3571 or send us an e-mail. We'll be happy to accommodate your request to the best of our ability. Unfortunately, we do not rent either of our stations for parties, receptions, or meetings, nor do we rent tables or chairs.
